Easter egg hunts are coming

Designed for ages 3-8, but there will be a special area for kids 2 and under as well.

Kids search for eggs throughout Lopatcong Park during the township's annual Easter egg hunt. Snap a picture with the Easter Bunny, participate in an Easter egg hunt in the museum, jump like the easter bunny in a moon bounce, and enjoy face painting, art activities, snow cones, popcorn and carnival games. The 1- to 3-year-old treasure hunters will be in the section nearest the pavilion.

Havannah House is hosting an Easter Festival this Saturday, bringing a free family fun and lots of chocolate eggs to Apex Park (near the aeroplane).

"We're going to have a tug-o-war, egg and spoon races, sack races, three-legged races, thong throwing and more, there are heaps of prizes", Mrs Barnes said. A hunt for children ages seven to 10 will follow at Linscott Park. The divisions will be: pre-school, kindergarten, first grade, second grade, third grade and fourth grade.

Children will also have an opportunity to take photographs with the Easter Bunny, according to the Merchants Association.
