Sudan freezes sanction talks with U.S. for three months
Temporary sanctions relief took effect with immediate effect and this was due to become permanent on 12 July 2017. While the Obama administration had plans to lift sanctions on Sudan, despite evidence that the country was not upholding worldwide sanctions on North Korea , the Trump administration may be taking a tougher stance.
