- Chinese telecoms giant Huawei expects to see a 21 percent rise in revenue for 2018, its chairman said on December 27, despite a year of "unfair treatment" which saw its products banned in several countries over security concerns.

"Honor Vision defines the future of televisions with our "Sharp Tech" innovations. But also an information-sharing centre, a control management centre and a multi-device interaction centre", George Zhao, President, Honor, said.

Huawei launched a smart TV at the Huawei Developer Conference in Dongguan over the weekend, the first product to feature its self-developed operating system, an alternative to those from Google and Apple.

HarmonyOS is open-source, which means that other device-makers could theoretically use its operating system.

To encourage broader adoption, Huawei will release HarmonyOS as an open-source platform globally. Among the smart devices shown at HDC, HONOR Vision is the first smart screen equipped with HarmonyOS.

Mbappe meanwhile told Canal Plus: 'I will not lie and we will see what will happen with the situation of Neymar because it is not the same team without him.

"The Chinese market is huge, there are many users and they have many demands, and solving their demands will result in many apps, products, and when this happens it will, from the periphery, create a core ecosystem, and the Chinese market will go on to spur the overseas market", Yang said.

Honghu 818, an AI television chipset powered by Chinese software giant Baidu, is what the smart display runs on and is much more capable than your average TV engine. The processor's industry-leading bandwidth utilization rate outperforms others by over 50% on average. The AI camera NPU chipset offers AI capabilities including face recognition, body tracking, and posture detection. The camera's pop-up design provides a smart and secure user experience, tilting downwards by 10 degrees when wall-mounted and automatically hiding behind the screen when not in use.

The Honor Vision Series houses three chipsets under the hood.

The regular Honor Vision features four 10W speakers, while the Pro variant houses six of the same speakers. This will allow developers to more efficiently build apps that run on multiple devices. Owners will be able to use their phones or tablets to search for programs to watch. For that, they have also stated, for the home OS they need own Play Store Now. It also helps to seamlessly switch between large and small screen for 1080p video call irrespective of how far you go from the sensor. There is also a TÜV Rheinland Eye Comfort mode.
