More video game rumors are flying around Reddit, and this time they have to do with the original Red Dead Redemption, which released on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 back in 2010.

Between December 2020 and January 2021 the remake of Red Dead Redemption 1 will be released. The Reddit user also claims that players will play as Arthur and that the original Red Dead Redemption is getting remade.

The report also claims that Rob Wiethoff, the voice actor behind John Marston, is recording new dialogue to help solidify the connection between the Wild West title and its prequel. However, due to alleged issues with the development, a delayed-release window is more sensible.

They had met at a hostel in Croatia in 2017, and since then had traveled extensively throughout Europe, Central America and Asia. Australian network ABC said Fowler was the son of Stephen Fowler , chief inspector of police in New South Wales , Australia .

With that in mind, don't so much take it with a pinch of salt, but several kilos of the stuff, as Rockstar is a notoriously well guarded entity, and the Reddit account itself has nearly no online history to give any authority to its claims. As such, it will have a larger map as well as new features to bring it closer to the experience of Red Dead Redemption 2. Despite supposedly being slated for release before, Red Dead Redemption Remastered, the details beyond that are scarce. This isn't the first time we've heard of this "Red Dead Remake", either.

Take-Two, Rockstar Games' parent company has said before that the game developer is now working on the frequency of the games' releases. Rumours have been swirling for months, and back in December of past year, a Red Dead Redemption 2 audio glitch seemed to suggest that it's happening, or that such a project had been in the works at one point. This has led analysts to predict that a new Rockstar game will be announced in 2019 with a release in 2020. Given that a Rockstar-caliber sequel will likely take years to develop, a smaller project like a remake is much more within the realm of possibility.
