This year, movie fans are set to get a look at some action and horror epics - including the hotly anticipated IT: Chapter Two - as well as the long-awaited comedy sequel Jay and Silent Bob Reboot, from director Kevin Smith.

As you might expect from another story of Jay (played by Jason Mewes) and his "hetero life-mate" Silent Bob (played by Smith himself), "Reboot" looks to be filled with swears, pot smoke and plenty of famous faces. Alas, it appears Jay and Silent Bob Reboot is not that movie-but I'm probably still going to see it.

Oh, and fair warning: this is a Jay and Silent Bob movie, and the trailer is of the red band variety.

As part of the trial, Instagram users can see a user name "and others" below posts, rather than the number of likes. Testers will still be able to see how many likes they get, but their friends will only get a vague idea.

A trailer for the movie dropped today, July 18th, as part of San Diego Comic-Con 2019, and it kicks off with a showdown between police and the duo at the former site of the video store from Clerks, now a "Cocksmoker Chicken Sandwich" restaurant. The stoner humor from the filmmaker's past hasn't aged all that well, but it still has a sense of nostalgia tied to it since the movie features plenty of characters from the likes of Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Dogma, and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. Smith previously directed Benoist in an episode of "Supergirl" on The CW, and the director said she was among the first people he spoke with when deciding he would make "Jay and Silent Bob Reboot."Jordan Monsanto of Smodco is producing alongside Destro Films" Liz Destro".

"If you remember Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back it was a movie in which Jay and Silent Bob found out Hollywood was making a movie about them so they went cross country to Hollywood to stop that from happening". The new movie will skewer reboots, remakes, and sequels while simultaneously being all three at the same time. Check back often as movie theaters continue to set up ticketing. Smith also mentioned Chris Hemsworth hung up his hammer for a day to join the filming. The cast also included Kevin Smith's wife, Jennifer Schwalbach Smith, and daughter, Harley Quinn Smith.
