Rumours of Willian potentially leaving have reportedly forced Maurizio Sarri into considering a move for Crystal Palace's Wilfried Zaha.

The 25-year-old Zaha had been a target for both the London clubs heading into the final week of the summer transfer window. As per Mirror, Wilfried Zaha is keen on departing Palace this window, and could put in an official transfer request soon.

He was offered a new-and-improved contract of £120,000 a week to stay at Selhurst.

The Blues are understood to be in the market for a new wide player, with star man Eden Hazard's future at the club clouded by uncertainty.

Tottenham have long held an interest in the talented winger, while Chelsea have also emerged as a potential destination for the player.

Johnny Depp's 'City of Lies' pulled a month before release
The first " City Of Lies " trailer was released in May, on what would have been Biggie's 46th birthday. Johnny Depp's next movie has been pulled from theatrical release with just a month to go.

Chelsea could now make what will be an "eleventh hour" move for the 25-year old Ivory Coat worldwide, with the Mirror suggesting that Tottenham have withdrawn their interest - having been put off by the price-tag.

Do you think Zaha would be a good signing for Chelsea?

The Ivorian International helped Palace to avoid the drop after a disastrous start to the campaign, scoring nine goals and providing three assists for Roy Hodgson's side in the process.

The Eagles are under little pressure to sell after tying Zaha to a long-term deal in 2017 worth £100,000 per week, but the Ivory Coast worldwide made his intentions clear by rejecting improved terms earlier this summer.

Chelsea suffered a humbling defeat to Premier League champions Manchester City in the Community Shield on Sunday and Sarri knows more signings are needed before Thursday's deadline.
