Obamas wave off Malia Obama, to college at Harvard University

And among those enjoying the revelry will be Malia Obama, who has arrived at Harvard.

After taking a gap year to travel with her family and live a somewhat normal life, the 19-year-old packed up her belongings to join the ranks of Harvard's class of 2021.

That's what it was like for a few students at Harvard University recently as the 44th president helped his oldest daughter move in, and depart with tears in his eyes.

Malia Obama Spotted at Harvard for Move-In

Malia's move-in comes just a day after the former POTUS-a Harvard Law grad like the former First Lady-was spotted enjoying dinner at his alma mater's Harvest restaurant in Harvard Square Monday. Before committing to the elite institution, Obama spent time touring multiple colleges: Brown, Harvard, Princeton and the University of Pennsylvania.
