Arsene Wenger has reiterated Arsenal's position on Alexis Sanchez, insisting the Gunners will not welcome any offers for the Chile global.

Although Wenger insisted several times that Sanchez would not be sold, he confirmed that the forward would miss Friday's Premier League clash at home to Leicester besides a trip to Stoke the following weekend.

Paris Saint-Germain are also said to be interested in bringing Sanchez to the French capital, with the Independent reporting they're poised to follow their world record-breaking move for Neymar with an £80m bid for the Arsenal number seven. I think if you read the French papers, they are on (Kylian) Mbappe's case to finish their transfer market'.

"I can't tell you that at the moment", said the Frenchman. "We are not open to any offers anyway".

"He had a scan two days ago and he's out for a while", Wenger told reporters. Sanchez, who was Arsenal's leading scorer with 30 goals last season, may decide his future lies away from north London despite efforts from Arsene Wenger to hold onto him as Arsenal attempts to return to the Champions League.

Insecure is Coming Back For Season 3
Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's HBO show Ballers got renewed for a fourth season . Insecure airs on HBO Sundays at 10:30 pm.

"For us Alexis Sanchez is a loss, of course", he said.

While Lacazette is a tremendous poacher and Ozil is a wonderful creator of chances, Sanchez is the man who knits together Arsenal's attacking play; at his best he is a force of nature.

The Chilean forward has one more season on his current deal and looks set to stay after manager Arsene Wenger stood firm in the face of relentless transfer speculation this summer.

"I don't think Sanchez is the kind of player to shut up shop", said Keown.

Arsenal, without Sanchez, will host Leicester City at the Emirates Stadium on Friday night, to kick off the new season.
