Soon after the three-member special implementation bench resumed hearing the case, it summoned the JIT report's volume 10 in the courtroom and opened it for reviewing the documents it contained. These developments emerged quickly after the Pakistani apex court concluded hearing the sensitive Panama Papers case against Sharif and his family for alleged corruption and money laundering.

The report suggested the court take action against Sharif and his family in accordance with a 1999 accountability law meant to help stamp out corruption.

The Supreme Court's appointed investigatory panel has claimed that the family wealth is way beyond their means.

He said these documents are undeniable proofs of money trail for London flats.

The SC-formed JIT in its report has recommended filing of a corruption case against the PM and his children.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif visited Sialkot on Wednesday where he inaugurated the newly established Business and Trade Centre.

The same line of argument also suggests that the report is an outgrowth of Sharif's standoff with the military establishment, which has seen the senior army leadership regularly aim for his ouster.

"From our legal perspective it's crystal clear: he can't survive this", said Shafqat Mahmood, a lawmaker and senior official with the opposition.

The controversy erupted a year ago with the publication of 11.5 million secret documents from Panamanian law firm Mossack Fonseca documenting the offshore dealings of numerous world's rich and powerful.

After the Mossac Fonseca leaks of the Panama papers, the manner in which Nawaz Sharif's children amassed wealth across the world is now under scrutiny.

Bar Council Vice Chairman Ahsan Bhoon said the lawyer community has expressed solidarity with the Supreme Court and asked Sharif to step down. Sharif denies allegations he misused his office to enrich himself. Its report will be examined by the court. Opposition Leader in National Assembly Khursheed Shah said that Sharif has only time till tomorrow to resign.

However, the Supreme Court of Pakistan continued with its proceedings, including hearing the Panama Papers leaks case.

He further said he gave Imran Khan all the credit for pursuing Panama case against Sharifs. The Prime Minister's Special Assistant, Asif Kirmani, warned opponents: "You started this game but we are the ones who will end it".
