The 2017 nominations are being led by Beyonce who has been named in seven categories.

"Saturday Night Live!" star Leslie Jones, is slated to bring the big laughs as your hostesss with the mostess.

Although the awards ceremony proper holds on Sunday, June 25, in Los Angeles, the United States, winners of some categories are announced days before the D-Day.

Beyoncé is followed by Mars, who has five nominations. The album's second single, "That's What I Like", reached No. 1 on the R&B and pop charts, while "24K Magic" became a Top 5 hit on both genre charts.

The esteemed boy group of the 80s is all grown up, but New Edition still incredibly popular today. In addition, multi-Grammy Award winning hip-hop artist and singer-songwriter, Chance the Rapper, will receive the evening's Humanitarian Award presented by Walmart.

Basically, it's a must-watch if you're into seeing your favorite hip-hop artists perform live.
