After nabbing George Hill by giving up the 12th pick a year ago, Lindsey packaged 2015 draftee Trey Lyles and the 24th pick this season to Denver for the 13th pick (per The Vertical's Adrian Wojnarowski), selecting Lousiville's Donovan Mitchell.
For the Nuggets, moving back 11 spots in the draft netted them Lyles, the 12th overall pick from 2015.
Mitchell led the ACC in steals (70, 2.0 per game, 23rd in the nation) and paced the Cardinals in scoring (15.6 points per game), 3-point field goals (80), and minutes played (32.3 per game).
Jazz fans are hoping that the trade for Mitchell works out as well as their last draft-night deal with Denver; in 2013 the team bought the No. 27 pick from the Nuggets to select Rudy Gobert.
Nevertheless, Lyles is just 21 and still has the potential to be a good floor-spacer for the Nuggets.

They will next face hosts England at the same venue on Tuesday before the big clash against India on July 2 in Derbyshire.
Mitchell, a 6-foot-2, 210-pound shooting guard, was a first team All-ACC selection after his sophomore season with the Cardinals. "I'd love to play with a star like that, I'd love to learn from a guy like him".
However, Lyles regressed in year two. He averaged 6.2 points and 3.3 rebounds in 71 games a year ago.
Mitchell also gives the Jazz a backcourt insurance policy in case George Hill doesn't return. "You never know. It's a business and people are going to do what they think is best for their teams".
"That's the big thing, knocking down open shots", Mitchell said. Lyles disappointed in his second season in Utah, falling out of the rotation for long stretches and failing to develop in several key areas. "If you enjoy the city, then you can play basketball in that city".
