A vehicle ride in Wisconsin ended in handcuffs for Shock G of Digital Underground when he was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia on June 13.
Captain Tracy Hom said that an officer pulled a vehicle over around 2 a.m. June 13 because the license plate was listed to an unlicensed driver. There's no word on how cops found the particular items.
Aquafest's website shows that Shock G of Digital Underground was a special guest star at Naughty by Nature's June 10 performance.
It's not apparent how the police discovered the drug paraphernalia in the vehicle, but they arrested the now 53-year-old 90's one-hit wonder.
House Passes Bill To Overhaul Dodd-Frank, Minimize Regulations
Consumers Union criticized the vote and called on the Senate to "reject this rollback of critical consumer protections". Banks that want to avoid Dodd-Frank-type regulations would be able to increase the amount of emergency funds on hand.
Digital Underground was formed in 1987 by Shock G, Jimi "Chopmaster J" Dright and Kenneth "Kenny-K" Waters.
Shock G also had a number of other alter egos including Rackadelic (artist and art director), Piano Man (keyboards and music production) and another recording entity, Humpty Hump.
Shock G is a triple OG and was down with Tupac in the 1990s, co-producing Pac's debut album 2Pacalypse Now, as well as his first gold single, "I Get Around".
Reps for Shock G had no comment on his recent arrest.
