Pakistan 'pressure' got to India, says Kohli

"Several journalists & eyewitnesses confirm a group chanting slogans was involvd in manhandling @najamsethi outside Oval #PakVsIndia", said a Twitterati, to which Sethi replied, "That is correct".

Pakistan, the lowest ranked team in the tournament, completely outplayed defending champions India in the summit clash, to win by 180 runs.

Amir and Hasan Ali's three wickets each guided Pakistan to bowl out India for just 158 runs in 30.3 overs.

"Reaching the final you obviously have to have a good tournament which the boys have pulled off".

"They motivated us", explained Sarraz, also Pakistan's captain when they beat India in the 2006 Under-19 World Cup final in Colombo.

Fakhar Zaman's maiden one-day worldwide hundred laid the foundations for Pakistan's formidable total of 338-4.

Fakhar makes a confident 31 on ODI debut and Pakistan are well ahead of where they need to be, at 119 for three off 27 overs, when rain sees them win under the Duckworth/Lewis rule.

After man of the match Fakhar finished on 114, Pakistan pace bowler Mohammad Amir ripped the heart out of the India batting line-up with the wickets of Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan and Virat Kohli.

Following the attacks, the Israeli government took a number of punitive measures against Palestinian residents in the West Bank. In its statement, Daesh said the attack was "revenge for the religion of Allah and the sanctities of the violated Muslims".

The last time Pakistan won a major 50-over ICC tournament was also during Ramadan, when Khan led his team over England in the 1992 final at Melbourne, Australia.

"When players like that get going on their day, it becomes real hard to stop them because I think 80 per cent of his shots were high-risk and they were all coming off", said Kohli.

'Hope all nations now come and play cricket in Pakistan', Pakistan captain Sarfraz Ahmed said at the post-match press conference. Pakistan's margin of victory is their biggest by runs in 129 ODIs against India.

"We spoke about it in the team meeting", the South Africa-born coach said.

"Hopefully this win, everyone will remember, not just for today, not just for tomorrow, but for a very long, long time", added the wicket-keeper/batsman.

With very little exposure to playing in lucrative Twenty20 league across the world and lack of global cricket at home, the Champions Trophy win on Sunday was a remarkable feat for the young Pakistan side.

Kohli, the world's top-ranked one-day batsman, had been dropped off the previous delivery in the slips and the India fans looked shell-shocked as he trudged off. The way they turned things round speaks volumes for the talent they have.

Through this victory, I would like to appeal to the other teams that please come and play in Pakistan.
