Amid frenzied speculation that he was about to fire the special counsel or Rosenstein or both, a seemingly unconcerned Trump set out to celebrate the second anniversary of the launch of his incredible presidential run with a vow to "Make America Great Again". Russia's Foreign Ministry said in a statement that Trump is "returning us to the forgotten rhetoric of the Cold War". But Rosenstein, too, may ultimately have to hand off oversight given his role in Trump's decision to fire Comey.
