Trump lashes out over probe

President Donald Trump lashed out Thursday at the investigators driving the Russian Federation investigation as "very bad and conflicted people", responding angrily to reports that the special counsel is looking into whether Trump obstructed justice. And though Trump has said that he planned to fire Comey regardless of the recommendation, he appeared to take a shot at his appointee on Twitter on Friday.

"The vice president is focused entirely on his duties and promoting the president's agenda and looks forward to a swift conclusion of this matter".

Mueller, who is leading a federal investigation into Russian meddling into the presidential election as well as whether Trump's campaign colluded with the former Cold War superpower, wants to interview as early as this week National Intelligence Director Daniel Coats, National Security Agency Director Mike Rogers and former deputy Richard Ledgett, according to The Washington Post, citing five anonymous sources. And even if they did build a convincing case, responsibility for holding Trump accountable would fall to the Republican-controlled Congress, which won't move against the president so long as he can sign tax cuts for rich people into law.

In another tweet, Trump called it "the single greatest WITCH HUNT in American political history - led by some very bad and conflicted people!" The inquiry has expanded to include an examination of whether Trump attempted to obstruct justice, The Post reported Wednesday.

"Why is that Hillary Clintons family and Dems dealings with Russian Federation are not looked at, but my non-dealings are?" he asked at one point.

Earlier tonight the Post reported Vice President Mike Pence has retained private counsel to help him in the Russian Federation probe.

The probe into Kushner's business dealings is part of the special counsel's investigation into Russia's interference in the 2016 presidential election.

Police claimed to have seized bows and arrows, knives, axes, explosives and a large quantity of cash from Gurung's house. Fresh clashes broke out between Gorkha Janamukti Morcha (GJM) supporters and security forces in Darjeeling , today.

Rosenstein wrote a memo recommending May 9 Comey's firing.

The president has denied that he has any nefarious ties to Russian Federation and has also disputed that he's attempted to block the investigation into his campaign's possible role in Russia's election-related hacking.

He followed that up 12 minutes later with a second tweet: "Crooked H destroyed phones w/ hammer, "bleached" emails, & had husband meet w/AG days before she was cleared- & they talk about obstruction?"

The Trump associate who probably stands to lose the most from intense Justice Department scrutiny is former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort. Comey, after all, could only testify that Trump wasn't a target of the probe as of early May, when he was sacked. Comey deemed that would wrong and refused to do it. Trump then fired Comey.

President Donald Trump, in a furious Friday morning message, confirmed that he is being investigated for his role in firing former FBI Director James Comey and seemed to accuse the deputy attorney general of overseeing a "witch hunt" against him.

"If I had nothing to hide and someone wanted to investigate, I would say, 'Go ahead, do your thing, I don't care, because you won't find anything, '" said Younger, a Democrat who imports jewelry supplies.

Rosenstein has authority over the inquiry because Attorney General Jeff Sessions recused himself on March 2 after revelations of previously undisclosed meetings with Russia's ambassador to Washington while he was a Trump campaign adviser.
