Real Madrid captain, Sergio Ramos insists that the future of club and global teammate, Alvaro Morata is yet unclear, as there have been talks of the 24-year-old leaving Real Madrid this summer to join Manchester United in a £60m move.

One transfer move that does appear to be on the brink of happening is Alvaro Morata to Manchester United.

It was believed that the Red Devils would had been prepared the break the world record transfer fee that they set last summer in an attempt to bring the French worldwide to the Premier League.

After having a bid of £52m rejected from Real Madrid, the club are set to increase the offer to £60m according to The Guardian.

The pair were effective backups for Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane during 2016-17, with Morata scoring 20 goals in 43 appearances and Rodriguez chipping in with 11 goals and 13 assists in his 33 games across all competitions.

The 24 year-old has shown his class with both Real and on-loan at Juventus, however he's struggled for regular starts with the likes of Karim Benzema, Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale in Madrid's forward line.

Morata simply wants to play football in 2017/2018 so that he can secure a spot in the Spain World Cup squad for next summer. That's normal for a striker who's scored 19 goals.

With the expected departure of Zlatan Ibrahimovic today it seems Manchester United are going to waste no time in re-stocking their dressing room.

However, with Lindelof already signed and Morata looking destined to join him, United are seemingly trying to conclude their transfer business early this summer.

Any potential deal to bring Griezmann to Old Trafford now looks extremely hard, however, following the confirmation of Atletico Madrid's transfer ban.

Manchester United manager José Mourinho gave Morata his first shot with the first-team at Real Madrid when he was still managing the side back in 2010.
