The Sarasotan wowed onlookers with the precarious stunt by hanging from the trapeze with the grip of his toes.
After dangling for approximately 15 seconds, Erendira said she "felt good" and made a decision to do it again for another 10 seconds. Onlookers were as impressed as they were anxious about the whole stunt, as he set a new record for the "iron-jaw hang".
The Niagara Falls, New York Gazette provided details to this story. She was on a Hula-Hoop-type device dangling from a helicopter as it flew 300 feet above the Falls. At another, her teeth.
Wallenda said she was caught off guard by the windy conditions above the cataracts, something her husband had to deal with during his 2012 stunt.
Rebecca Wydysh, a representative for the Niagara County Legislature, presented Wallenda with a proclamation to commemorate her spectacle and declared June 15 as Erendira Wallenda Day in Niagara County.
She was tethered by her waist during the stunt to comply with a NY state law that requires safety harnesses for performers more than 6 metres in the air.
"She did it", husband and daredevil Nik Wallenda said of Erendira's high-flying feat.
"I wanted to stop and go a little bit closer to the audience that I had because that's what makes you feel alive, you see people smile at you and you're hopefully inspiring other people".

The mouthpiece Wallenda used Thursday morning sat in full view on top of the podium, from which she spoke to the press. A third performer, usually sitting on a chair and at his teammates' mercy, teeters at the top.
"This is my passion, this is my life", Erendira said.
She survived, of course, but this family is rather insane.
Crowds of people gathered on the Canadian side of Niagara Falls around Table Rock to watch Erendira's performance.
"It hurts really bad", he said.
Back then, the only mechanism keeping her in the air was her tight bite on a folded leather belt.
Nik and Erendira have been married for 17 years and have three children.
The stunt is slated for 8:30 a.m. and will last for about ten minutes.
