Police and law enforcement officials from throughout the Southeast continue to search for two escaped inmates accused of shooting and killing two corrections officers in Putnam County on Tuesday morning.

The Georgia Department of Corrections in a tweet identified the inmates as 43-year-old Donnie Russell Rowe and 24-year-old Ricky Dubose.

Police say Donnie Russell Rowe (W/M 6'1 181 pounds) and Ricky Dubose (W/M 6'1 140 pounds) are the suspects.

The inmates, 43-year-old Donnie Russell Rowe and 24-year-old Ricky Dubose, are unsafe criminals according to police.

"They're risky criminals, and we need the public's help in locating these vehicles and these individuals", Sills said.

Sheriff Sills asked anyone who has any information about the fugitives to call 911.

"I saw two brutally murdered corrections officers, that's what I saw", Sills said. "They're not concerned with anything regarding human life", Sills told Elliot Wednesday.

The two inmates were part of a group of 33 inmates being transported on a bus from Baldwin and Hancock state prisons to a diagnostic facility in Jackson, Myrick said.

"Obviously, we think they may well be in the truck at this time".

Investigators are also seeking to learn whether any Trump campaign associates colluded with Russian officials in the meddling. Comey's firing has been a source of considerable controversy for the Trump administration.

Shortly before 6 p.m. Wednesday, officers found the green Honda the inmates were allegedly driving before they stole the truck. "They're not concerned with anything regarding human life", Sills said.

Authorities put up roadblocks, only to discover Wednesday morning that the pickup had been stolen, from a site about 9 miles away from the burglary.

The most promising lead could be the pickup truck, a 2008 Ford F-250, bearing the Georgia tag BCX 5372.

"Sometimes it takes longer than we would like", Deal said, "but I have every confidence that they're going to get these individuals and bring them to justice". Authorities in Georgia have released another photo of Dubose, showing prominent tattoos. Sills said Dubose also has "ghost" tattooed on his right forefinger and "face" on his right pinky finger - signs of membership in the Ghost Face Gangsters. The Department of Corrections said Rowe has been serving life without parole since 2002, and Dubose began a 20-year sentence in 2015.

Immediately after the escape, authorities said, the two carjacked a driver and fled in his green Honda Civic and traveled 25 miles to the north, where they burglarized a house.

The sheriff's office said Tuesday afternoon that authorities didn't know what the prisoners are wearing and believed that they most likely had shed their prison uniforms.

A multi-state manhunt is underway after two Baldwin State Prison inmates shot and killed two corrections officers on board a transport bus Tuesday in Putnam County, investigators said.

How the two inmates managed to reach and overpower the guards remains under investigation, Sills said.

"We're trying to get this bus unloaded", Massee said. "They stole two vehicles in the last 30 hours so, obviously they've got to have gas and things so I assume they've acquired some money somewhere".
