Bethesda at E3 2017: Virtual reality DOOM and Fallout 4 footage

The virtual reality adaptation is coming to HTC Vive and PlayStation VR this October.

The final two announcements of the conference were titles that have always been expected: The Evil Within 2 and Wolfenstein II: Colossus. However, we're still waiting to find out more information about this project, so we'll be sure to update you regarding the specifics as they become available.

Though we've known The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim was coming to the Nintendo Switch since January, Bethesda finally showcased it, complete with Amiibo compatibility. We get to see how the interaction works, how the combat works, how the Pipboy works, and how the companion mode works.

According to the game studio, all the post-release downloadable content (DLC) for the upcoming game like maps, heroes and new modes will be released for free instead of requiring an expensive season pass.

Doom was one of the best shooters of 2016 and it sold incredibly well. Dubbed Fallout 4 VR and Doom VFR, both VR titles were unveiled on stage with new, impressive trailers. There's no launch date, but it's being released for PlayStation VR and HTC Vive.
