Spanish state prosecutor charges Ronaldo with tax fraud

Cristiano Ronaldo is set to face charges from Spanish prosecutors for an alleged €14.7m of tax evasion, according to reports.

The prosecutor's office said in a statement that Real Madrid C.F.'s Ronaldo had knowingly used a business structure created in 2010 to allegedly hide his income in Spain from his image rights. He also took part in a very special quiz.

Madrid's regional state prosecutor has accused Ronaldo of four counts of tax fraud from 2011-14.
