Begovic touts Terry for Bournemouth move

Begovic will officially complete his £10m switch to the Cherries from Stamford Bridge when the transfer window reopens on July 1, but Terry remains without a club after ending his long association with the Blues.

Steve Bruce's side were awarded just £6.9m last season as the EFL split the funds evenly between the 24 Championship sides, with every club receiving a basic award of £2.084m in addition to a £4.3m solidarity payment.

The Birmingham Mail has reported that Terry and Villa boss Steve Bruce were photographed playing golf together last week in Portugal, with SkyBet now installing the Birmingham club as second favourites to sign the five time Premier League victor.

Terry has also been linked with moves to the MLS and Portugal, however the player seems keen to see out the rest of his career on home soil in England.

House, Senate investigators request for Trump tapes, Comey memos
Questioned about Comey's central claim that Trump told him to lay off Flynn, the president responded: " I didn't say that ". Comey testified he asked a friend to read his unclassified memos to a New York Times reporter May 16.

Villa finished in 13th place in the Championship last season, and with club looking to make a huge improvement in their promotion push this time around, one would think Terry is the ideal character to give a boost on the pitch and in the dressing room.

Terry can deliver on all counts if Bruce is able to persuade the veteran centre-half to drop down into the second tier rather than pursue interest from Bournemouth in the Premier League.

The England worldwide, who will officially end his 22-year spell at Stamford Bridge at the end of next month, is also a target for Premier League side Bournemouth. Does he still have what it takes to play at a higher level?
