Nell Tiger Free Reveals Original 'Game Of Thrones' Season 5 Death Plans

The rule of D.B. Weiss and David Benioff's show is to never get too attached to your favorites and, even more so in #GeorgeRRMartin's books, no one is safe. (The greatest: staying alive.) Game of Thrones is full of compliments, from the Lannisters sending their regards to Robb Stark to Joffrey choking on his own hate (and poisoned wine). Joffrey was more irritating, Cersei more evil, Tommen more whiny and Jaime more golden hand-y but her demise was nearly poetic, in its own weird Thrones way.

In that season finale, Myrcella Baratheon is killed by Ellaria Sand's poisoned kiss to avenge the death of Oberyn Martell.

Compared to other GoT deaths, Myrcella's is decidedly tame. In a recent interview at MCM London, the actress who portrayed Myrcella, Nell Tiger Free, let slip that her character's Season 5 finale death was meant to be far more gruesome than what actually aired.

"Well, originally - I don't know if I should say this, but - originally what happened is they gave me loads of mashed up bananas with like blood, like fake blood, and my brains were supposed to be all over the ship and stuff."
"I don't like gore but I knew they were just bananas, so I was okay with it".

Lewis Hamilton wins his sixth Canadian Grand Prix title
On lap 11, Verstappen's Red Bull died at the side of the track, ending his day and leaving Hamilton and Bottas alone in front. Hamilton's teammate Valtteri Bottas was third-fastest in qualifying and will start from the second row beside Raikkonen.

Though viewers didn't see much of her death and instead saw her biological father Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) mourning whilst cradling his deceased daughter in his arms, this wasn't always the plan. As they finish their conversation, both oddly chill with this weirdo situation, Myrcella's nose starts bleeding and she kinda just drops dead.

Though, Myrcella's fate took an uncharacteristically savoury U-turn when bosses felt her death should "reflect her life". That still doesn't explain why Shireen Baratheon, a far sweeter character who had survived one of Westeros' worst diseases, wasn't given the same treatment. but oh well.

Which death would have been better for Myrcella?
