The actress appeared on the show on Thursday, June 8, and revealed that years ago President Donald Trump went totally Hollywoodish and asked her on a date. "He said, "I'm sorry, your girlfriend, I saw she was cold" and I said, 'No, it's okay".
But, predictably the charm didn't last long.
"I was at an event with my boyfriend, and then I went like this, like I'm cold", the actress said, pretend-shivering. He kept talking to my boyfriend, and then he befriended my boyfriend, invited him to dinner and then he was like, "If you guys are in NY, you can come to Atlantic City, you can stay in my hotel". She said that they went and that Donald Trump talked to her boyfriend - not her - the entire time.
Donald's friendship with Salma's boyfriend was short-lived, as she revealed that he "never talked to [her] boyfriend again".
Apparently, he did not call Hayek's then boyfriend but did call her to invite her out on a date. Am I insane, are you asking me out? "You have to go out with me". "You have to go out with me".
Trump's response, according to Hayek, was to claim that her boyfriend was 'not good enough for you.
"They were kind of laughing and smirking at the beginning", she said, according to National Public Radio.

"It really landed in my lap. top", Salma smiled of the movie, remembering how director Miguel Arteta and writer Mike White approached her even before the script was finished.
