NBA Live 18 Announced, The One Mode Revealed

As you improve, you're able to allot points to mold the character into the type of player you want, whether that's a sharpshooter or a low-post bruiser.

In addition to standard games between National Basketball Association teams, Live 18 brings back a street ball mode. Real-life street courts available to play in The One include Venice Beach, California, and Rucker Park in NY. Everything you do matters to how you player is regarded and treated. Create your individual player identity and become a legend in The League and The Streets. Interested parties will be able to try out The One in NBA Live 18's demo, which will be available free in August on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

After taking a year off to build the game from the ground up, NBA Live 18 will hopefully return to glory in the basketball simulation genre after 2K Games' NBA 2K series has done some great work in the last few years.

In an effort to include a variety of play styles, NBA Live 18 will feature standard NBA-style games as well as five-on-five street games which, presumably, will stir an arcadey sort of feel into the mix.
