Those days will soon be over for many users thanks to a new setting in iOS 11 that introduces the "While Using The App" location setting for all apps, as a number of eagle-eyed developers - including Joe Duvall and Twitter users @tfoil2 and @chengyinliu - spotted. Apple has now dropped this feature though so developers will be less inclined to push notifications to your phone asking for reviews.

The latest report reiterates previous rumours that iPhone 8 will have an embedded fingerprint scanner. Well known Apple tipster, Benjamin Geskin earlier suggested that the rear panel on iPhone 8 will have a unique alloy of metal and glass. While it's true that the new iPad Pro failed to transition to the brand new OLED technology that the iPhone 8 will have, its LCD manages to hold its own still.
