Safari: Apple claims Safari to the fastest desktop browser on the High Sierra platform. Instead, they'll be automatically paused, letting users decide whether they want to unpause them. Furthermore, it uses Intelligent Tracking Prevention that uses machine learning to identify trackers and protect users' privacy. Even some apps like Photos, Safari, and Mail apps have gained some new features and refined to improve the overall user experience.

Now, High Sierra is also using split view for composing mail and spotlight to find exactly what you're looking for, while putting the most important mail at the top. The company also is opening its Photo Book printing service to third-party apps (which makes for interesting timing, given the launch of Google's photo books only a few weeks ago). A new persistent sidebar is added and also a drop-down menu for filtering your photos.

In addition to this the Unreal Engine showed that it was VR ready for the mac with a demonstration of both VR and AR, with a Star Wars demo made by ILMxLABS for VR and Peter Jackson's Wingnut for AR.
