Trump speaks to Qatar emir, offers help in resolving crisis - White House

On Monday, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Yemen and the Maldives cut diplomatic ties Monday with Qatar, accusing it of supporting terrorism.

The brief statement gave no other details of their talks over what the Chinese foreign ministry described as "the present situation in the Gulf region".
