British police have named the third London Bridge attacker as 22-year-old Youssef Zaghba and said he is believed to be an Italian national of Moroccan descent.

This is what we know about the terrorist Khuram Shazad Butt, who was one of three that carried out the deadly London Bridge attack on Saturday night.

A second attacker, Rachid Redouane, 30, has been named by police. Neighbors told police that Butt had lived in an apartment in Barking with his wife and young children, including a newborn.

Khuram Butt, a 27-year-old father of two, had been known to police.

It emerged that Butt, born to Pakistani immigrants reportedly from Jhelum, was a supporter of the banned Islamist group al-Muhajiroun.

Khuram Shazad Butt, one of the three London Bridge attackers, was allowed to work at Westminster Tube station, even after he featured in a TV documentary about British jihadists in which he prayed to a black flag in Regent's Park. The third was identified on Tuesday.

Butt's friends and neighbours spoke about their interactions with him, and reports said his family's hotel in Pakistan had been searched.

Redouane, who claimed to be Moroccan and Libyan, but whose citizenship has not been confirmed, had not been known to the security agencies.

Police arrested 12 people on Sunday in Barking, east London, but said late on Monday all had been released without charge.

A nationwide minute of silence was held at 11 a.m. (1000 GMT) to honour all the victims.

- Unlike Butt, Redouane was not previously known to authorities.

Police have arrested at least 13 people in connection to the attack.

Earlier, Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera had reported that Zaghba had been stopped at an Italian airport because authorities believed he was on his way to Syria, and that Italian officials had warned British counterparts about him.

He was detained with only a small backpack, his passport and a one-way ticket to Istanbul.

- Like the other two perpetrators, Zaghba lived in east London, Met Police said.

"He was always exhausted", Melissa said. "MSM is working hard to sell it!" "This is a passing time for us".

"When you have a special relationship it is no different from when you have got a close mate".

I commend the strong leadership of the @MayorofLondon as he leads the city forward after this heinous attack.

"What we need to do is make sure that we ask these questions and the police and the security services respond and answer the legitimate questions we all have", Khan added. He dressed in the religious gown of a conservative Muslim - with a tracksuit and sneakers underneath.

The Islamic gym where Butt worked out said Tuesday they had seen nothing of concern during his time there.

It had been set at "critical" in the days after the Manchester concert bombing on May 22 that killed 22 people - reflecting a judgment that an attack might be imminent because accomplices with similar bombs might be on the loose.
