Shortly after take-off, passengers onboard flight MH128, traveling from Melbourne to Kuala Lumpur, tackled a man carrying a odd object as he moved towards the front of the plane.
A MALAYSIAN Airlines plane has been forced to turn back to Melbourne after passenger tried to enter the cockpit and reportedly screamed he had a bomb.

The man allegedly responsible is in custody and being interviewed by AFP and Victoria Police.

Australian Federal Police confirmed to 9NEWS they were responding to an incident but would not comment further.
Fairfax reported that in air traffic control audio posted online, a male voice can be heard saying: "We have a passenger trying to enter the cockpit".
A Malaysian government official later told local media that the black box the man was holding when he attempted to enter the cockpit was not a bomb or explosive device. but was actually a portable mobile phone charger.
"However we'd like to land and have the device checked", the pilot said.

The passenger was apprehended by security forces. "So I jumped up, undid my buckle, and approached him".
MH128 landed safely at Melbourne Airport at 11.41pm, the company said. They were given accommodations at hotels and offered next available flights by the airline or other carriers.
"Safety and security are of Malaysia Airlines' utmost priority".
"There appears to be no imminent threat to passengers, staff or public and the investigation is ongoing".
