She said he gave her three blue pills after having dinner with him and was told to take them because they would "take the edge off".
Bill Cosby's chief accuser denied under cross-examination Wednesday that they had a romantic relationship before he allegedly drugged and assaulted her, as the comedian's lawyers labored to pick apart her story.
Ms Constand managed the women's basketball team at Temple, Cosby's alma mater, while he was a high-profile trustee. Cosby had attended Temple, and Constand had met him when she worked for the women's basketball team.
Cosby, 79, has been charged with three counts of aggravated indecent assault, each carrying up to 10 years in prison.
The defense has argued that Cosby's infidelity to his wife made him "vulnerable" to accusations and has sought to undermine Constand's credibility, portraying their relationship as consensual, with many meetings and phone calls. The former director of women's basketball operations at Temple said Cosby placed her on a couch, touched her breasts, forced her to touch his penis and had other sexual contact with her.
Constand acknowledged that she had initially told police that the incident had occurred in mid-March, while during her testimony Tuesday, she said it had happened sometime in approximately January 2004.

At the same time, she said, Cosby became more flirtatious and suggestive - grabbing her thigh during one encounter at his home and attempting to unbutton her trousers in another.
"I trusted him" said Constand during her testimony.
"As an advocate for women and with my nonprofit the Kamp Kizzy Foundation, which is all about empowerment, self esteem for girls, I don't take these charges lightly".

Agrusa resumed grilling Constand on Wednesday, asserting that Constand's account in court differed from what she told authorities in 2005, giving a different date for the encounter with Cosby than she had originally reported.
At one point Constand was asked why she continued to have contact with Cosby after he made sexual advances toward her on occasions that occurred prior to the alleged assault, including attempting to unzip her trousers during one visit to his home. She said she continued to speak to Cosby after the alleged incident because of her job at the time, and because Cosby was an important donor to the school.
Constand said that Cosby became more flirtatious and suggestive during their friendship.
Constand replied, "I was very nervous", and "I wasn't able to recall every particular moment that I had seen Mr. Cosby in order of dates".
On direct examination, she told the prosecutor that she only sat on the bed.
Constand continued: "Mr. Cosby ... laid me down".
Sewell said they didn't go to police at the time because her husband, a Los Angeles detective, feared the ordeal that would ensue. She complied, although Cosby did not look at her, nor did he look at her throughout the testimony, even turning his head away at times. Cosby, after listening to Constand testify for almost four hours, struck a light-hearted note as he left the courthouse.
Cosby starred in "Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids", "I Spy" and "The Cosby Show".
The trial is expected to take about 2 weeks.
