Two charges against Cincinnati Bengals player Adam Jones have been dropped after the veteran cornerback agreed to a plea deal Tuesday.
Jones pleaded guilty to obstructing official business.
The judge sentenced Jones to two days in jail, which he served after his initial arrest.
In January, Jones was arrested at a downtown Cincinnati hotel for allegedly pushing a security guard, poking him in the eye and refusing to cooperate with police officers. He faced a felony charge of harassment with a bodily substance after police claimed he spit on a female officer after arriving at jail, but that charge was previously dismissed. "We have no timetable on any potential discipline".
Trump shared sensitive information with Russians
One of the two officials said Trump had disclosed the information to Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov nearly spontaneously. Instead, the paper says Trump discussed information provided by a source relating to a specific terrorist threat.
According to TMZ, disorderly conduct and assault charges were dropped as part of a plea deal. That felony charge was later dismissed. "That is not an example of how I want kids to see me". "I truly apologize for what I did".
"I'm trying to get better every day with the necessary treatments that I'm taking", Jones said Tuesday.
Jones still could be punished by the National Football League for violations under the personal conduct policy.
