Warriors' Green: Celtics' Olynyk dirty player

Draymond Green made comments on his podcast Monday calling Celtics center Kelly Olynyk a "dirty player".

22-0 run: Isaiah Thomas, Avery Bradley, Gerald Green, Jae Crowder, Al Horford (subs during run: Marcus Smart for Thomas six points in, Jaylen Brown for Green six points in, Terry Rozier for Crowder 10 points in, Thomas returns and replaces Horford 17 points in, Kelly Olynyk for Bradley 17 points in, Jonas Jerebko for Brown 20 points in).

The talk over whether Olynyk is a dirty player has been rampant league-wide since. "Dirty player. Man, I don't respect guys like that".

Thomas then jokingly said, "Kelly is one of the dirtiest players I know", before turning serious and saying he's a clean player. I don't respect that, man. Olynyk was whistled for an illegal high screen that knocked Oubre to the floor. Green's recent criticism of Olynyk raises an intriguing question: What could happen if they face each other in the NBA Finals? Olynyk did not face any repercussions.

After being up by as many as 12 points, Boston would surrender a 48-16 run, which included a 26-0 individual run, by the Wizards coming out of the half.

Back in the 2015 playoffs, Olynyk was involved in the rebounding battle that left Cleveland Cavaliers forward Kevin Love with a season ending dislocated shoulder injury. I can't be allowed to be held and grabbed every pin-down, every screen and I don't even shoot one free throw.

"I don't know how he can call anybody dirty", Thomas told reporters about Green.

As Brooks sees it, it isn't his job to pester officials if his players aren't getting calls (although he does get heated at referees during games), and fouls aren't something he's much interested in discussing off the court.

"That's ridiculous", Olynyk said. "We've got to hit, we're going to foul hard if we have to but we're not going to start doing stuff that's going to take us out of our game", said Gortat. Kelly is known for arm pulling, going down easy on contact and a few other little tricks, but nothing out of the ordinary for many bigs. "Like, come on, he really yanked this dude's shoulder out of place".

"I don't agree with that assessment (that Olynyk is a dirty player)", Stevens said. But you're not doing nothing to hurt nobody. This dude be out there trying to hurt people.
