Game 5 Preview: San Antonio Spurs vs. Houston Rockets

San Antonio Spurs forward Kawhi Leonard dribbles the ball during the third quarter against the Houston Rockets in Game 4 of the second round of the 2017 NBA Playoffs at Toyota Center in Houston on May 7, 2017. Gordon's numbers were actually better as a reserve during the regular season, but you have to love that the Rockets played him for 44 minutes and only used a seven-man rotation.

Leonard still led the Spurs with 22 points and 15 rebounds. Ginobili wasn't alone. Danny Green had 16 points, outscoring Houston single-handedly in overtime, seven to six thanks to two momentum-swinging baskets. This is especially prevalent when Aldridge is isolated on James Harden or Lou Williams, and the Spurs simply can not survive when their big men are isolated on an island with a professional scorer. The Rockets, who set an National Basketball Association record by making 1,081 3s in the regular season, have averaged 20.5 3-pointers in their two wins and just 13 in the three losses.

When Harden's potentially tying three was blocked by Manu Ginobili in the final seconds, it was appropriate. And he wasn't guarded by Kawhi Leonard once, with the Spurs star sitting out with an ankle injury.

Leonard came back into the game with 2:59 remaining in the fourth, and assisted on Patty Mills' 3-pointer on his first offensive possession since returning. "I just tried to be aggressive and do the best that I can and help my team". Harden, who finished with nine turnovers, said he was not tired despite playing 43 minutes. I saw some talk about how the Spurs only had two more rebounds than Houston despite the Rockets smaller lineup.

The offense was bad for both teams to start overtime as every shot seemed to miss and there was no organization.

First Dates fans emotional as woman removes her wig over dinner
First Dates airs on Tuesdays at 10pm on Channel 4 . "My parents have had to save for me to have really nice hair". To which Jordan quickly told her: 'You're handsome . "I've got alopecia so my hair just falls out".

About halfway through the third quarter of Tuesday's Game 5, Leonard came down awkwardly upon the foot of James Harden. If they can win at home tonight they can travel to Houston for Game 6 knowing they can end things there and then. The team said it was reviewing treatment options for the torn adductor muscle. Waiting for the victor of this series will likely be Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors who are dismantling the Utah Jazz in their second round series.

Gordon has promised to launch plenty of three-pointers for Game 5.

The Spurs have the chance to close out the series on Thursday night when they take on the Rockets in Game 6. When Spurs bigs switched on the quick Rockets, they got open shots and hit majority. "The competitiveness was just off the charts, we're obviously thrilled with the victory [because] we would have really been in a hole and either team could have won the team down the stretch".

"I think I made a wrong read", Gasol said. San Antonio, on the other hand, has often utilized traditional lineups with two big men and relies far more on its frontcourt players rather than dynamic guards and wings to generate its secondary scoring, especially now that Parker is out.
