Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has revealed that he has no fresh injury concerns ahead of Thursday's Europa League semi-final second leg against Celta Vigo. "When you play centre forward you know you want goals and so it hopefully gives him confidence", the 67-year-old said, speaking to reporters at the post-match press conference.
But he said the goal was no more special for those facts, adding: "I grew up there, so it's a special place in my life but once we get on that pitch it's just business at the end of the day, to try and get the points for the team and thankfully we did that". "The team was good, organised, we tried to win, we played to win, we defended well and Arsenal weren't better than us in my opinion", said the United manager.
"And for this group of players, we have just a little group with European success, I think Wayne Rooney, Michael Carrick, Young, this group of English boys with a long time in the club plus [Juan] Mata".
"We lost four players in one week, when we lost (Chris) Smalling and (Phil) Jones in the (England) national team and (Marcos) Rojo and Zlatan (Ibrahimovic) against Anderlecht (in the previous round)".
"I haven't thrown my toys out of the pram, I haven't made a big fuss of it". It also demonstrates to people that I can play and the lads have more trust in me, so it is a good feeling.
He made eight changes to his starting XI for last Sunday's 2-0 defeat at Arsenal, which brought an end to United's 25-game unbeaten run in the league and left them four points below fourth-place Manchester City.
But the Frenchman opted against taunting Mourinho, preferring to urge his players, who are also in the FA Cup final against Chelsea, to finish the season strongly.

Do you think it is wrong when players celebrate goals against their former clubs?
Manchester United have not suffered defeat in the last 17 European matches at the Theatre of Dreams, stretching back to a 2-1 reverse at home to Real Madrid in the Champions League in 2012/13 - when Madrid were managed by current Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho.
"It's a risky position we're in but we've got a good chance of going to the final if we play to our best tomorrow".
"Jose Mourinho keeps going on about playing a "weakened" team against Arsenal to save themselves for the Europa League second leg".
Adding to Community Shield and EFL Cup glory would be a good end to a hard first campaign for Jose Mourinho, a manager Rooney has once again backed to flourish in the Old Trafford hotseat.
"If we can win the Europa League, that will be three trophies in his first season".
"Mourinho has come up with plenty of excuses over the last few months, but there is no reason why United should shy away from dealing with these challenges".
