Despite not fighting in nearly 18 months, Fury is looking to fight Anthony Joshua in an all-British heavyweight title fight, after the former Olympic champion defeated Klitschko on Saturday night in Wembley.

In October of previous year, Fury vacated three of the titles he had ripped from Klitschko, the WBA, WBO and IBO belts, to focus on "medical treatment and recovery".

"Fury has come from the ground up". He s an ordinary guy who has achieved great things.

"I would just like to congratulate AJ for getting through the nip-and-tuck, life-and-death situation, against an old man, so well done", Fury told Tim Hobbs of Sky Sports. I want to go worldwide with him.

Fury responded with "let's dance" on Twitter, before claiming he could beat Joshua with one arm behind his back, but Hearn says any realistic possibility of the two doing battle remains a long way off.

But he hasn't boxed since, with mental health problems forcing him to relinquish his titles, while his licence to box was subsequently suspended by the British Boxing Board of Control.

After he defeated Klitschko, Joshua called out Fury during his post-fight interview and said: "Fury, where are you at, baby?" Good fight. You had life and death with Klitschko and I played with the guy.

He said his victory over Klitschko, in which he overcame a sixth-round knockdown, showed he "can knock anyone out".

"I think he will want to fight again, because a fighter is the last one to know when to stop".

Joshua, who made his professional debut in 2013. was born in Watford to a Nigerian mother and a British father of Nigerian and Irish descent.

Joshua is already looking for his next fight.

"The Joshua effect is very similar to the Tiger Woods effect in golf, where people who are not so interested suddenly become interested, where young people become (inspired) to follow in someone's footsteps".

Joshua picked himself up off the canvas to stop Klitschko in front of 90,000 fans at Wembley, a performance that is sure to bring the new champion untold riches.
