Cleveland Indians ace Corey Kluber left a game Tuesday night against the Detroit Tigers because of back discomfort.

Carrasco and Detroit left-hander Matthew Boyd opened with three scoreless innings each before the Indians took a 3-0 lead in the in the fourth.

Carrasco faced the Tigers at Progressive Field on April 16 and came away with the loss despite allowing just two earned runs on four hits in 6 2/3 innings. Jose Iglesias walked with one out and Ian Kinsler singled to right before Collins hit his second home run of the season, a drive to deep right center over the tall scoreboard wall.

Pirates 12, Reds 3 • Josh Harrison hit a three-run homer - his third in two games - and righthander Tyler Glasnow singled home two runs during a six-run rally that swept Pittsburgh to the win at Cincinnati. He'll be replaced for the time being by righty Joe Colon. Lindor threw to first to get Martinez and Santana threw across the diamond to third to complete a 6-3-5 double play. "It's a little easier when you tell them they're being sent down because Miguel Cabrera is coming off the disabled list".

In 'Alien: Covenant,' a return to gut-busting horror
Jack Paglen ( Transcendence ) and Michael Green ( Green Lantern ) provided the Alien: Covenant screenplay. I was going to be the producer. "If I could have, I would have", Scott said.

"It's not just me, it's everyone in here", he said. "I don't know. He's been day-to-day for a few weeks now". Kluber said he has been able to pitch through the pain most of the time, but Tuesday was an exception.

"That's why he's the best hitter of our generation", he said. Last year, he went 18-9 and helped Cleveland reach the World Series, where the Indians lost in seven games to the Chicago Cubs, who won their first title since 1908.

"Their pitchers did a great job of holding down our offense last season", Cabrera said.

Indians: RHP Carlos Carrasco (2-2, 2.04) will go for his fifth straight quality start when he faces the Tigers on Wednesday night. He is not off to a very good start in 2017, allowing at least five runs in three of his six starts. It was the kind of extended outing that made Miller such a valuable part of the Cleveland bullpen when he led the Indians to the World Series past year.
