In a resolution approved on Thursday, the 22-member pan-Arab body said it "invites the United Nations and its relevant specialized agencies to send an worldwide commission of inquiry to Israeli prisons".

Khaled announced her strike at the prisoners' support tent in Amman, Jordan, during an event held by the office of the Democratic People's Unity Party of Jordan. Needless to say, these payments are an incentive to the younger generation of Palestinians to follow in the footsteps of their heroic forebears.
He said he was unsure whether the release of the footage would help break the strike.
