Chelsea striker Diego Costa insists he will decide his own future and states that a move to China is not a formality.

In a recent interview, the 28-year-old has revealed that the Far East may not be his next address and he will not be sold to a club he does not want to join, leaving his door open for all the European clubs.

The Spanish forward hit his 20th league goal of the season against Middlesbrough on Monday night, which helped to relegate Steve Agnew's side, and after the game he took the opportunity to attempt to reassure Blues fans about his future.

However, the focus is now on Costa's future once again, with the Spain worldwide being heavily linked with a move to Chinese Super League side Tianjin Quanjian - a team who tried to sign him in January.

Atletico Madrid have always been linked with re-signing Costa, but the Spanish club could not compete financially with PSG or China.

Conte publicly stated his absence on that occasion was due to a back injury and the rumours subsided but resurfaced last week.
