Ivanka joined the Women20 (W20) summit at the invite of German Chancellor Angela Merkel, who is proving that Germany will be one of the strongest USA alliances of Trump's fledgling presidency.
"I'm sure she said 'Listen, this is terrible stuff.' My father will act in times like that", Eric said.
Sat alongside Mrs Merkel, Ms Trump said she was "humbled to be here with so many formidable leaders".
