The spacecraft will be launched on a ULA Atlas V rocket at 11 a.m. EDT (3:11 p.m. GMT) on April 18, 2017, from Space Launch Complex 41 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, according to VR Focus.
"Liftoff of the Atlas V rocket with Cygnus and the S.S. John Glenn extending the research legacy for living and working in space", a NASA TV commentator said.
Users on Twitter responded to NASA's tweets to report the issue.
It'll be the first live 360-degree broadcast of a rocket launch, with the mission carrying cargo to resupply the International Space Station (ISS). He died at age 95 in December.
Orbital ATK asked Glenn's widow, Annie, for permission to use his name for the spacecraft, following his death.
"We feel like we are bridging history", said Vernon Thorp, United Launch Alliance program manager for commercial missions. Also, a tribute banner featuring a picture of John Glenn is aboard the capsule.
Clippers ready to move on from heartbreaking loss
After the injury, Jazz fans immediately assumed the worst: that Gobert had structural damage to his knee and his team was doomed. It would be very surprising to me if Hood was to start a game in the postseason unless Ingles went down with an injury.
The S.S. John Glenn is ready for its close-up. It meant a lot of us to be able to do that. The Advanced Plant Habitat, which is about the size of a mini refrigerator, includes more than 180 sensors to measure temperature, oxygen content and moisture levels.
The Orbital ATK Cygnus spacecraft named for Sen. "The crew will use the complex's robotic arm to grab Cygnus and attach it to the station".
SpaceX and Boeing are developing new capsules that could fly US astronauts to the space station as early as next year. At that point, Orbital will light a large fire inside the vehicle again - the third time this has been done in a departing Cygnus to study how flames behave in microgravity.
The two-stage United Launch Alliance Atlas V rocket stood 191 feet tall including the protective payload fairing that contains the 21-foot-long Orbital ATK Cygnus module.
NASA, Orbital ATK and United Launch Alliance (ULA) are hoping Tuesday is a good day for the launch of Orbital ATK's seventh contracted commercial resupply services mission to the International Space Station.
