Facebook on Monday said it would review how it monitors violent footage and other objectionable material in response to the killing after Stephens' post was visible on the social media site for about two hours.

Police confirm Steve Stephens, the suspected OH shooter, was found dead in Erie, Pennsylvania.

Stephens was spotted by an "alert citizen" near the city's intersection of Buffalo Road and Downing Avenue around 11 a.m. Tuesday, Pennslyvania State Police Troopers troopers said in a Facebook post. Stephens pulled up to the next window, where restaurant owner Thomas DuCharme Jr. and a supervisor tried stalling him by telling him his fries were delayed.

According to WKYC's Chris Tye, the manager called Pennsylvania State Police and that Stephens was there.

Police say Steve Stephens killed himself late this morning after a brief police chase near Erie, Pa. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victim's loved ones and all of those impacted by this horrific crime.

Authorities say it's now a nationwide search for 37-year-old Steve Stephens, who's wanted on an aggravated murder charge in the shooting death of a 74-year-old retired man in Cleveland on Sunday.

"Nearly three hours on the internet is an eternity", Hany Farid, a digital forensics expert at Dartmouth College told the Daily News.
