That goal for Boston came at the end of a short 5-on-3 after the Senators took back-to-back penalties.
Bobby Ryan's overtime power-play goal gave the Senators their second straight 4-3 OT win and the lead in the first-round Eastern Conference series Monday night.
It was an iffy call at a crucial moment in the game and when Ryan scored the victor it was just too much for the Bruins' faithful at TD Garden.
"This hurts", said winger David Backes.
Turris then got the puck to Ryan, who tipped it past goaltender Tuukka Rask as the Senators overcame blowing a 3-0 lead to recapture home-ice advantage in the series. "When it's 3-3 after the second period, it's a great opportunity for everybody. We were a better team", Pastrnak said. "And we're looking for more of that next game".
The Senators were able to get up off the mat after Ryan scored the victor at 5:43 of OT on the power play to deliver the knockout punch to the Bruins. "He was playing good hockey when he got hurt, so there's a good chance that he'll draw back into the lineup", coach Bruce Cassidy said. Backes, in alone, pulled Boston to within a goal by beating Anderson at 6:47 to cut Ottawa's lead to 3-2. But if you're going to set a standard, you've got to call it both ways. Torey Krug and Brandon Carlo have yet to play in the series, while Colin Miller left early in Game 1 after taking a hit from Mark Borowiecki and didn't play in Game 2, during which Adam McQuaid also left early.
Then, the Bruins finally cashed in on Pastrnak's goal with Dion Phaeneuf in the penalty box for slashing.
It almost nullified what was a dominating start by the Senators, who kept the action on their side of the red line for most of the first period.
Asked what his team needs to do in Game 4, Boston winger Brad Marchand, a 39-goal scorer in the regular season who scored the Game 1 victor before being blanked in the next two, said, "Definitely a better start".

LIVERPOOL have come from behind three times in their last five games, picking up seven points in the process. Silva added: "Our home form has been fantastic but we need to change something away".
Still, creating an early lead on the road is important for the Senators, and they were able to accomplish that with a 2-0 lead after the first period.
Who has the edge when the Boston Bruins and Ottawa Senators meet up in a crucial Game 3 of their series tonight at 7PM ET?
"It feels incredible and we took home-ice back and that's what's important". Rinne has stopped all 59 shots faced and, to add insult to Chicago's injury, has racked up two assists - two more points than the entire 'Hawks team combined. Frederik Andersen made 23 saves. Alex Ovechkin, John Carlson and Nicklas Backstrom scored for the top-seeded Capitals, who are now feeling the heat going into Game 3 Monday in Toronto. The game is scheduled for a 7:00 p.m. start time and it will be televised live on CNBC.
Game 4 is Wednesday night.
Another overtime game last night in Toronto, and much like the Bruins contest, the hometown crowd went wild seeing their team come back from a deficit.
The winning goal was scored less than six minutes into overtime.
Clarke MacArthur, Chris Wideman and Derick Brassard also scored for Ottawa.
Mark Stone and Kyle Turris have nearly hurt more than they've helped, though.
