We are tracking another storm system that will move across part of northern Oklahoma later today bringing a chance for scattered thunderstorms across the area.
The severe weather threatened residents of Alabama, Florida, Georgia and SC, and is expected to move into the OH and Tennessee valleys, according to the National Weather Service.
"The risk of tornadoes is low, but the National Weather Service is giving moderate confidence to hail and high winds".
A tornado emergency was issued for Webster and Sumter Counties in Georgia earlier Wednesday. The greatest threats with Thursday morning's storms is severe thunderstorms with strong, damaging winds, hail, and intense lightning. Some of the storms this afternoon could become severe with all modes of severe weather possible.
The National Weather Service predicted widespread thunderstorms across much of Alabama and Georgia and into Florida and south-western SC. Wind advisories will likely be posted tomorrow.
The storms were expected to pack more intensity and last longer than Monday's severe weather, said Richard Thacker, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Charleston, on Wednesday morning.

Belanger says affected cities could include Atlanta and Augusta - the site of this week's Masters golf tournament.
