For many, the hardest part of an Easter egg hunt is finding eggs in hiding places, but for these kids, it doesn't matter where you hide them.
Many who attended took to the parks and recreation department's Facebook page at facebook.com/iraparksandrec to compliment organizers for a successful event. "It's very family friendly and there are lots of fun stuff to do", Heidi Kapusta, of Arvada said. Roughly 10 minutes after the word "go" was heard, and the stampede of children ran into their sections, there were few of the Easter eggs left. After all the eggs have been found, (and their will be special prizes for the different age group hunters who find the "golden eggs"), there will be a potluck meal back in the Pavilion.
Over ten thousand eggs were scooped by kids at the third annual Operation Addy Easter egg hunt.
With horses quietly snorting and children chatting, a 4-H group filled plastic Easter eggs with treats Friday afternoon in preparation for a special Easter egg hunt.
Nearly 300 hundred kids and adults showed up to hunt 4,000 eggs.

For some children, egg hunts are about collecting candy, for others it's about seeing the Easter Bunny, and for some, it's all about the strategy. "Just those independent skills, I mean there's something to be said about for these kids to be able to cross streets, and grocery shop", Evansville Association for the Blind's Krysti Hughes told us."We all take that so much for granted".
"It was like a big old tornado trying to get me", said Dayanara Bayel, 9.
"We just celebrated our 75th anniversary", Drake said. Kids could collect up to 12 eggs and exchange them for gifts after it was over.
Pastor Iglesias said over the past four years, the volunteer force for the community Easter celebration has grown from about 20 to over 50 this year.
