The church is new to the community; they just opened in January.
Church of the King member, Kallista Gonzalez was one of those volunteers.
Parents say it's made the hunt not only less stressful but more cherishable for them and their children.
Over 100 children listened for the beep of the eggs, which led them to discover some Easter sweets and other prizes.
The actual Easter egg hunt occurred at 2 p.m.
Children could also pose with bunnies and spring themed props created by the Hoboken High School art department. Pastor Zack was accompanied by his family: his wife, Rachel and his four children; Sophia, Samuel, John, and Jedediah.
So how was this egg hunt different from others? A relative saw the event was occurring and told them about it, sparking their interest in attending the Animal Egg Hunt.

Emily Rebori brought her daughter, Addison. The Easter egg hunt is for children 12 and under. "His name is Luke and he's nearly two". "Let's give the people something to do, and give them hope and love". In a matter of five minutes, all 30,000 eggs were collected. "And that's why we added the second hunt".
"Kids get to get out and exercise instead of playing video games", she said. It's free for chidlren ages 10 years old and younger. I just ran and grabbed that stuff.
"For us Easter is the biggest day of the year". The eggs were filled with goodies or denoted a special prize to be collected later and were collected in short order by excited children.
The prizes and candy for the eggs come from a variety of groups as well as from the city of Jamestown. It will be bigger, with word of mouth about the event.
"We are here because of the community".
