This undated photograph obtained April 9, 2017 courtesy of the Rock County Sheriff's Office in Janesville, Wisconsin shows Joseph Jakubowski, 32, who allegedly robbed a gun shop and sent a lengthy manifesto to US President Donald Trump.
The fugitive was arrested off County Highway U in Richland County, and the Vernon County Sheriff's office confirmed his capture this morning to the Beloit Daily News after they received a suspicious person's complaint at a farm near Readstown, Wisconsin.
The weeks-long hunt for Jakubowski began after the April 4 break-in at Armageddon Supplies, a gun shop in the suspect's hometown of Janesville, about 70 miles (113 km) southwest of Milwaukee, in Rock County.
Joseph Jakubowski, the Wisconsin man police feared was planning attacks on churches and schools, has been captured.
Milwaukee Grill general manager Fabian Gonzalez says he was concerned for women on his staff because they have children who attend Janesville schools and police initially anxious that Jakubowski could launch an attack there.
Spoden said it appeared Jakubowski had been at the camp site for some time. Investigators are also working with local officials, church leaders and federal, state and local law enforcement officers in the case. A nationwide, multiagency manhunt was launched last week to find Jakubowski, and area schools, churches and government buildings have taken extra safety precautions.
A portion of the document was published Thursday by WTMJ-TV, which said it received a copy from a source who had the manifesto before Jakubowski's disappearance. Two BearCats, armored vehicles used by law enforcement, on the scene made the initial contact, officials said Friday.
Deal to evacuate thousands from besieged Syrian towns begins
The evacuation deal has been brokered by Iran, an ally of Syria's President Bashar al-Assad, and Qatar, which supports the rebels. Evacuees from rebel-held Madaya, near Damascus , have been bussed to Idlib province.
The man who sent a 161-page manifesto to the White House promising violence and then broke into a gun store to arm himself has been captured, according to ABC News.
Investigators said they analyzed the manifesto and discovered grievances focusing on several topics but no specific threat to any group.
He was taken into custody without incident and is in the process of being returned to Rock County for further investigation and charges. Officials at churches and schools were anxious about potential attacks and threats.
Authorities on Thursday released additional excerpts of the manifesto in which the often rambling Jakubowski refers to health insurance, taxes and religion as examples of the government trying to brainwash its citizens.
No shots were fired when Jakubowski was arrested.
UPDATE (WKOW) - "We would like to say this is a Good Friday in more than one way", said Sheriff John Spears of Vernon County.
