It's been nearly three full months since Bruins defenseman Joe Morrow has skated in an National Hockey League game, but the Bruins will likely ask just that out of the 24-year-old defender for tomorrow's Game 2 meeting with the Senators at the Canadian Tire Center.
The Bruins did not receive any good news on the injury front on Friday. Krejci also will miss Game 2 on Saturday afternoon in Ottawa, interim head coach Bruce Cassidy told reporters Friday afternoon.
David Krejci (upper body) didn't venture onto the ice during the B's practice at the Sensplex and Colin Miller (knee) skated but had to pull the plug halfway through the session. Defenseman Joe Morrow is likely to take Miller's place, Cassidy said. "He wasn't [feeling] very good today, so we were hoping he would skate, didn't happen, so not playing for four days is going to be hard, so he's still day to day", Interim Head Coach Bruce Cassidy said on Friday. Morrow dressed in 17 games during the regular season for the Penguins, but last played with the team on January 22. "He's going to have to get himself into the game in a hurry", said Cassidy. Guys have done and he'll have to do it.
Insurers say Trump must do more to stabilize 'Obamacare'
It eliminates provisions for preexisting conditions and coverage for essential health benefits, the very goal of health insurance. In most of those states, the expansion took effect in 2014, when the online health insurance exchanges also went live.
The Bruins and Senators will play Game 2 on Saturday afternoon at 3 p.m.
After missing the team's practice earlier this week, Krejci appeared ready to suit up in Game 1 of the series, taking part in warmups just 30 minutes prior to the start of the game, but was ruled a late scratch at the last minute. David Pastrnak stayed with Patrice Bergeron and Brad Marchand, like in Game 1. Frank Vatrano remained with Riley Nash and Dominic Moore.
