Jose Mourinho is aware of the importance of progressing further in the Europa League as it gives United another route to make it to next season's Champions League.
United are now attempting to qualify for next season's competition, either through finishing in the Premier League's top four or winning the Europa League.
"We need and we don't need", Mourinho told a news conference.
