In the press conference following Chelsea's 3-1 win at Bournemouth, Blues Manager Antonio Conte said he thrives on pressure.

Seeing off pressure from London rivals Tottenham will make winning the Premier League title "sweeter" for Chelsea, according to former Blues winger Pat Nevin.

"In England it doesn't exist, an easy game".

Chelsea are the potential fall guys once again this coming weekend with their heavyweight clash at Manchester United on Sunday kicking off more than 24 hours after Tottenham have concluded their match with Bournemouth.

And if Mauricio Pochettino's men can close the gap to four or five points after those games, then the race will very much be on - something that will cause both excitement and trepidation for both club's Belgian contingent. He arrived at Chelsea, assessed the situation and didn't do what he wanted right from the start. We all know where we are going, we are all going in the same direction and that's very important.

"We have to think game by game and we know our schedule is not easy, but we want to play game by game and we will now prepare in the right way for United". Arriving at a Chelsea side that had become seriously demoralised in the wake of Jose Mourinho's disastrous final year at Stamford Bridge, Conte quickly instilled a newfound sense of belief within the players, altered the tactics to a brilliantly effective 3-4-3 and as a result Chelsea have been running away with the league for months. We have to continue in this way game by game, to be focused and to concentrate.

"I think Manchester United for sure will have good motivation because they are playing against Chelsea. What we've historically done is always try to win and that's the same aim no matter how many points you have and how many games are left".

Goals from substitutes Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino helped Liverpool fight back to win 2-1 at Stoke in the Premier League on Saturday.

Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson has cancelled a visit to Russian Federation in the wake of the USA missile strikes against an airbase in Syria .

Jordy Clasie scored his first Premier League goal as Southampton recorded a 1-0 win over West Brom at The Hawthorns.

Talk of Conte going with a false No. 9 has been accompanied by jokes that Chelsea are now playing with a false No. 19, a reference to Costa's shirt number and his dearth of goals.

"The second goal, it was a good pass".

Fewer games means that the Chelsea players have longer recovery time and more work on the training ground to fine tune their tactics.

Tottenham's 11th consecutive home league win and seventh league victory in which the team has scored at least four goals put Spurs on 68 points.

"He is a great player, a great talent and he must understand that he is a great player and never forget this".

"And I'm sure he can score in every game".
