A California woman is speaking out about the February ordeal she and and three friends endured after she claims they were denied lodging at the last minute during a snowstorm by an Airbnb host due to her race.

An Airbnb spokesman The Washington Post that the host's behavior was "abhorrent and unacceptable", and that the host had been banned. Airbnb also stated the company works to identify and prevent discrimination on its platform.

She and her friends were driving to the location in California's Big Bear Lake ski resort after confirming with the Airbnb host that they could add more people to their reservation.

It was then that Suh took screenshots of the conversation and posted them on Facebook, though the problem had just gotten worse because of a winter storm at the time, making it hard for the group to travel back.

Sue, who is a USA citizen and a student of critical race studies at the UCLA Law School, told the woman her actions would be reported to Airbnb, but the racist woman said she had nothing to worry about. She said the U.S.is the only country she considers "home". She also called Suh "a con artist" and cancelled the reservation.

Suh complained to the host that she had confirmed the booking ahead of time, and asked for a reason for the sudden cancellation. They added, "One word says it all".

Dyne Suh, an 23-year-old Asian-American law student studying race relations, was in tears as she shared her experience in a video that was widely shared and talked about in social media yesterday.

The senior official said the US has no proof of Russian involvement in the actual chemical attack in northern Syria. Tillerson said Tuesday that "It is clear to all of us that the reign of the Assad family is coming to an end".

In additional screenshots of the conversation, provided by the guest as proof, the host wrote, "And I will not allow this country to be told what to do by foreigners". Luckily, they happened upon a KTLA 5 News van, populated by reporters doing a story on the snow.

"For me personally, to now have someone say something racist to me and say it's because of Trump, it was my fears coming true", Suh said. The hospitality service platform maintained they have a zero-tolerance policy for discrimination.

The weather continued to get worse but "by the grace of God", Suh said she was contacted by KTLA 5 News that was covering the storm.

The host, meanwhile, had no comment when reached by NBC Los Angeles, the station reports.

She said to KTLA, moments after the cancellation: 'It stings that after living in the US for over 23 years, this is what happens. "It stings that after living in the US for over 23 years, this is what happens".

Hours after her original Facebook post, Suh wrote in the early morning hours of March 18 that her group had found another place to stay, a "cute cabin" near the mountain. "If you're Asian, you're less than human and people can treat you like trash". But just moments before pulling up to the Airbnb rental, she was informed by the host that she was no longer welcome because she was Asian. "We have worked to provide the guest with our full support".
